GLOBAL INVESTMENTS
Overview: An investment advisory firm with offices throughout United States and abroad hired Integrated Protection Services to design, install, and provide project management for security systems for their 90,000 square feet of office space to be renovated at their U.S. headquarters, as well as for their London office under simultaneous renovation.
Systems Installed: Access Control, Camera, Visitor Entry, Alarm
Customized System Features: The access control system uses fingerprint readers for all users. System also provides: integration of access control and camera systems along with active directory integration. All systems including visitor entry and alarm systems are IP-based.
INTERNATIONAL ENERGY
Overview: Merchant energy company with offices throughout US and abroad hired us to design, install, and provide project management for security systems for their 65,000sf of office space to be renovated for their US headquarters. And following that, to assist with buildout of offices in Houston.
Systems Installed: Access Control, Camera, Alarm
Customized System Features: The access control system enables this customer to have a “one card” entry into both the base building and the tenant office space. All systems including visitor entry and alarm systems are IP-based.
SPECIALTY CHEMICALS
Overview: Specialty chemical manufacturer with HQ and manufacturing in Connecticut hired us to design, install, and provide project management for complete upgrade of their electronic fire alarm detection and notification systems.
Systems Installed: Fire Alarm
Customized System Features: The fire alarm system that was deployed is a network-based addressable system using nine peer-based panels interconnected by fiber optics. The system currently monitors nearly 400 inputs and outputs for automatic detectors, dry sprinklers, wet sprinklers, pressure switches, LEL’s, carbon dioxide sensors, as well as other control equipment. Plans to expand the system to add the following are currently in process: aspirating smoke detection for early warning, video smoke detection.
